Dov Vargas also known as Varuna, was born into a family of Yogis. Studying under his father Sri Dharma Mittra for a number of years, and teaching for four, he received his Dharma Yoga 200, 500, and 800 hour 'Life of a Yogi' Teacher Training Certifications.  Varuna was initiated into the lineage of Swami Kailashananda (Sri Dharma Mittra’s Guru) as a boy.  He has a strong desire to spread the wisdom of Dharma Yoga around the world in order to help liberate and touch the hearts of as many people as he can.   He embodies what the Dharma Yoga tradition is all about, with a true reverence for his guru, devoting his entire life sincerely to the teachings.  As a practitioner his asana practice is quite advanced, and as a teacher he is well rounded and compassionate.  Varuna helps run two Dharma Yoga Centers in NY, teaches full time, and does workshops around the world.  His calming nature has the ability to engulf a room with a meditative tone, guiding people on the path to achieve self-realization.
